About me

I don’t have the money to travel this year. I can’t get the time off. I could never move to a new city or country.

This are a few statements you’ll never hear me say. Since leaving home for university, I’ve jumped at the chance to experience new places. From living across Canada — Victoria to Montreal with many stops in between — to my first stint abroad in Thailand, stuffing my life into two suitcases has always been more thrilling than scary.

I now work as a writer and English teacher in Osaka, Japan. Japan is everything I imagined and much more. Follow Japaneasy to gain insight into my life here with some of the coolest people on the planet, eating some incredible food and doing as much exploring as I can before reluctantly leaving.
